Meet Recap

The Hartford men’s track team had several great performances Wednesday afternoon. Many of the competitors in green recorded personal records pushing each other to some of the best times and distances of the year. Almost the entire throws team threw a personal best which includes Bob Johnson with a 101’7″ discus throw and freshman David Fernandez who threw 89’3″, also in the discus. Sophomore Joel Soto ran a great 800 meter race with a time of 2:25.5. Lastly Randy Ramirez and Blake Snyder put on a great show running and finishing the 300 meter hurdles in second and third. The Indians continue to improve as the season heads into invitationals time.
